1. Introduction
Yuvavi POS ("we," "our," or "us") operates https://pos.yuvavi.ai, a restaurant management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information, including data obtained through Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when you use optional Social features.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use our services, and information from third parties (including Meta) when you connect integrations or grant permissions through their authorization dialogs.
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account information (name, email, phone number)
- Restaurant details (name, address, business information)
- Payment information (processed securely through third-party providers)
- Customer and order data you or your staff enter (e.g. CRM, QR ordering, loyalty) — you are responsible for lawful collection from your guests; we process it to provide your account features
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Usage data and analytics (pages viewed, features used)
- Device information, browser type, and IP addresses
- Session and authentication logs (for security and fraud prevention)
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8)
2.3 Information from Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
When you choose Social → Connected accounts and complete Facebook Login, we receive Platform Data from Meta only for the Facebook Page(s) and Instagram Business account(s) you authorize through Meta's permissions screen. We do not access personal friend lists, unrelated consumer profiles, or Pages you do not administer.
This may include:
- Page and Instagram account identifiers, names, and profile metadata
- Access tokens (stored encrypted) to call Meta APIs on your behalf
- Posts, comments, and engagement you manage through our Social Publisher and Comment inbox
- Insights and analytics metrics (reach, views, interactions) for your connected accounts
- Webhook notifications related to your connected Page or Instagram account
2.4 WhatsApp Business (optional)
If you connect WhatsApp Business, we may store business phone identifiers, message metadata, conversation content you manage in our inbox, contact/phonebook entries you upload, template and campaign data, and API credentials (encrypted) to send messages on your behalf through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API or your configured gateway.
2.5 Google Business Profile (optional)
If you connect Google Business, we may store location identifiers, profile metadata, posts, reviews, and performance metrics returned by Google APIs for locations you authorize.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our services
- To process transactions and send notifications
- To improve our platform and user experience
- To provide customer support
- To comply with legal obligations
- To send marketing communications (with your consent)
- To operate optional Social CRM features (publish content, analytics, comment management, automations) using Meta Platform Data only for accounts you connect
- To operate WhatsApp inbox, campaigns, and automations when you enable WhatsApp Business
- To display Google Business insights and manage posts/reviews when you connect Google
We process personal data only for the purposes above and do not use Meta Platform Data for unrelated advertising profiles or resale.
3.1 Data Retention
We retain account and operational data while your subscription is active and as needed to provide the service. Cached social and analytics data may be refreshed or removed when you disconnect a channel or request deletion. After a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize applicable data within 90 days, except where law, tax, or security requires a longer retention period.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers who assist our operations (hosting, database — as subprocessors)
- Payment processors for transaction handling
- Meta Platforms, Inc., when you connect Facebook or Instagram — solely to provide features you request
- Legal authorities when required by law
We do not sell personal information or Meta Platform Data.

7. Data Deletion Instructions
You may request deletion of data we hold about you or your business, including data obtained through Meta when you used our app. Use any of these methods (keep contact details current):

You can delete data we hold about you or your business, including Meta Platform Data from Facebook and Instagram, by following these steps:
Step 1 — Disconnect Facebook / Instagram
- Sign in at https://pos.yuvavi.ai
- Open Social → Connected accounts
- Choose each Facebook or Instagram channel and click Disconnect
This revokes our access tokens and stops new collection from Meta.
Step 2 — Remove app in Meta (optional)
Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → remove Yuvavi POS. If Meta shows a data-deletion option for the app, submit it; we will process it per this policy.
Step 3 — Request deletion of your Yuvavi POS account
- Email privacy@yuvavi.com (or support@yuvavi.com)
- Subject: Data deletion request — Yuvavi POS
- Include business name, registered phone/email, and scope (Meta only vs full account)
We confirm receipt and complete verified requests within 90 days, unless law requires otherwise.
What we delete
- Account and restaurant profile data you provided
- OAuth tokens and social channel connections
- Cached posts, comments, and analytics from Meta and other platforms
- Tenant CRM/order data as applicable to your request
Minimal records may be kept where required for legal, tax, or security obligations.

8. Cookies
