Steps
1. Open signup
Go to https://pos.yuvavi.ai and choose Start free / Sign up, or open https://pos.yuvavi.ai/auth/signup directly.
2. Enter business details
Add restaurant name, owner details, and follow the signup steps (email OTP, WhatsApp/phone OTP, address/city, plan or modules).
3. Set password
After OTPs succeed you are prompted to set a login password (Set password page). Use a strong password and store it safely for staff later.
4. Login
Open https://pos.yuvavi.ai/auth/login. Owners sign in with phone/email + password. Staff may use staff login if your restaurant enabled it.
5. Complete verification gates
Verify email and phone if the dashboard asks. During an active trial you can use core POS features without KYC. See the KYC & trial guide for what unlocks after documents are approved.
6. Land on dashboard
You arrive at /dashboard/[restaurantId]. From here open Menu, Tables, Kitchen, POS, Social, Inventory, CRM, and Settings based on your plan.
Tips
- Use a real WhatsApp number for OTP — the same number often helps later with WhatsApp Business tools.
- One owner account can manage the restaurant; add staff with limited roles from Settings when ready.
- Bookmark the dashboard URL after first login for faster access.
- Submit KYC before your trial ends so the account stays fully active.
If stuck

Dashboard looks locked
Finish email/phone verification first. If the trial has ended, complete KYC in Settings → KYC Documents (see KYC & trial guide).
Frequently asked questions
What is the recommended first-week setup order?
Signup → verify email/phone → Menu → Tables/QR → Kitchen → first POS bill. Upload KYC early (before trial ends). Then use Overview daily. Add Purchases, Customers (CRM), and Social Hub after KYC/plan allows them.
Do I need KYC during the free trial?
No for core POS. While the trial is active you can use Menu, Tables, Kitchen, Orders, Cash Register, and Staff POS without KYC. You still need email and phone verification. Social Hub stays locked until KYC is approved (plus required page follows) on plans that include it.
What happens if the trial ends without KYC?
The account enters an activation / settings-only state. Most dashboard modules (Overview, Menu, POS, etc.) stay blocked until KYC is submitted and approved. Open Settings → KYC Documents to finish activation. If the paid subscription also expired, renew from Billing & Subscription.
What unlocks after KYC is approved?
Full dashboard access continues after the trial. Social Hub tools (Design Studio, Publisher, comments, analytics, WhatsApp Business) unlock on Social Hub plans after approval and confirming the required platform follows. Other modules (Purchases, CRM, loyalty) still depend on your plan — KYC does not add modules you did not subscribe to.
Which KYC documents are required?
Business Aadhaar, Gumasta (shop license), FSSAI license file + FSSAI number, Owner Aadhaar file + number, and Owner photo. GST certificate is optional for submission but recommended if you have GSTIN.
Why don’t I see Purchases / Customers / Social Hub?
Those menus are plan modules (Inventory, Customer CRM, Social CRM). They stay hidden until enabled on your subscription/features and your staff role allows them. Social Hub also needs KYC approval + follow confirmations when the Social Hub gate is enabled.
Do I need inventory to take orders?
No. Inventory is optional and plan-based. You can run POS, kitchen, and QR ordering without it.
Why is settlement blocked?
Usually because KOTs/items are not marked Served yet, the cart still has unsaved items, or there is no active session order. Serve everything, clear the cart, then settle.
Where do guests order from QR?
Each table QR opens the guest order page at /order/[qrtoken] on https://pos.yuvavi.ai.
How do I open the kitchen screen?
Create a kitchen station, then open its public link /k/[token] on a tablet browser and leave it open during service.
Staff POS URL pattern?
Launcher: /dashboard/[restaurantId]/pos (click Enter). Terminal: /pos/[token] with floor, KDS, reservations, cash, reports, and order/settle screens.
What is Self Service on POS?
A header shortcut for pay-upfront counter flow: guest pays first and gets one slip that acts as bill + KOT — faster than full table settlement.
What do Takeaway and Delivery buttons do?
They open counter sessions (not a dine-in table) so staff can bill parcel/delivery orders from the same terminal.
Is Social Hub required for POS?
No. Social Hub, Design Studio, and WhatsApp Business are marketing/engagement modules. POS billing works without them.
Can I run multiple kitchens?
Yes. Create multiple stations and assign menu items to the correct kitchen so KOTs split automatically.
What does CRITICAL mean on a table?
On the POS floor, CRITICAL highlights a table with a long-running unpaid session. Complete settlement or resolve the open session.
Where do I get help?
Use https://pos.yuvavi.ai/contact for support, or ask your WhatsApp support agent if your restaurant enabled it.
Do I need technical knowledge?
No. Follow the guides in order — each section shows where to click and what to do next.
Can settings be changed later?
Yes. Menu, tables, kitchens, GST, staff, and modules can be updated anytime from the dashboard.
Ready to get started?
Create your account, follow the guides above, and settle your first bill on Staff POS.
