FAQ
Common questions about Yuvavi POS
What is Yuvavi POS?
Yuvavi POS is a cloud-based restaurant point-of-sale system covering table billing, kitchen display (KDS), QR ordering, and cash register — accessible from any browser on tablet, phone, or desktop, with no dedicated POS hardware required.
Does Yuvavi POS work without special hardware?
Yes. It runs in a web browser on any tablet, phone, laptop, or POS terminal. You can optionally connect thermal printers for bill printing, but no proprietary hardware lock-in is required to get started.
Can multiple kitchen stations see orders at once?
Yes. Kitchen display (KDS) routes each item to its assigned station — e.g. grill, bar, dessert — so every station only sees what it needs to prepare, with independent bump and recall controls.
How does cash register reconciliation work?
Each shift starts with an opening float and denomination count. Cash in/out during the shift is logged, and closing the shift auto-calculates expected cash against actual counted cash, flagging any variance for manager sign-off.
Can guests order without downloading an app?
Yes. Guests scan the table's QR code, which opens a browser-based menu — no app download needed. Orders placed this way sync directly to the kitchen display.
Is Yuvavi POS suitable for multi-outlet restaurant chains?
Yes. Branch-level reporting, shared or per-outlet menus, and central kitchen inventory supply are built in, so owners can manage several locations from one login.

Cloud restaurant POS software built for Indian rush hours
Yuvavi POS handles the reality of a busy Indian restaurant floor: rapid table turnover, split bills, GST-compliant e-receipts, and kitchen tickets that cannot get lost in the chaos of a dinner rush. Every order — whether taken by a waiter or placed by a guest scanning a table QR code — flows straight to the correct kitchen display in real time.
Unlike legacy POS systems that lock you into specific billing machines, Yuvavi runs in any browser, so you can bill from a tablet at the table or a desktop at the counter. Cash register tracking closes the loop with shift-wise reconciliation, so every rupee is accounted for at day's end.
For growing brands, branch-level reports, central kitchen inventory, and a single owner login across outlets mean you can open a second or fifth location without adopting a second system.
